Fitness Haul

I went shopping last week and I decided to treat myself to some workout stuff because I've been doing so well over the last couple of months. Buying this sort of thing is my favourite because theres some really cute stuff out there and I love finding new things to help me feel motivated every so often.

These two things I got from New Look. I think there are some really nice vests there with different slogans on and I want to buy some more. I've been wanting to buy a water bottle for a while to take out with me to make sure I keep drinking enough. I loved this one. I'm loving this greeny colour, its definitely a theme in my workout wardrobe. Although I've only had it a week and I've already left it at work! I really hope its there when I go back in.

I really liked this USA Pro top I got from Sports Direct I thought it was a little different and really liked the zip and hood. I'm not sure when is best to wear this though. Still need to work that one out.

From Sports Direct I also brought a USA Pro Yoga Ball and a Yoga mat. I do all my workouts from home so wanted to buy these to mix it up a bit. I am in loveeee with this yoga ball!!! Most of my workouts now include this. Its so much fun.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul. Let me know where you buy your workout clothes from?

What I got for my 21st birthday

Heya everyone :) it was my birthday over the weekend and had such a lovely time! I went to champneys for the day and then spent the night in london. I am so grateful for everyone who spend it with me! I also got a few gift from people that I wanted to share on my blog today. They were all so lovely and thoughtful and would like to thank my family and friends for them all.

The first things I got was the thing everyone gets for the 21st birthday. Things with 21 written on it :) I think there so cute and I love little keep sakes like this. The mug is sitting on my desk with all my pens in it, which looks so cute. and I will be using the keyring because it's so pretty.

I got Benefit Stay don't stray eye primer which I love! It makes yours eyes look so much brighter and also keeps your eye makeup on for longer. I also go this cute little candle in the scent pink fizz and grapefruit. It smells amazing! I haven't burnt it yet but have a feeling it won't last long so will most likely be looking for a bigger one soon. My mum knows how much I love the body shop so got me this mini Nutruganics skin care pack, My first anti-aging products (thanks mum!) I am really excited to try these. I'll report back if there good.

I got these two charms for my bracelet. I think they are so cute! They go with the charms I've already go so well.

Got to love getting food :) I love that my mum got me this biscuit tin and filled it with biscuits. Definitely something i'm going to use. I also got some cocktail flavoured jelly belly which are really nice and some truffles.

Because over summer me and some family and friends have started bike riding together, my family brought me loads of riding equipment to look the part. So here I have a helmet, Gloves, a light, a seat pad and a bum bag that you attach to your bike. These have already come in handy.

I hope you enjoyed this post :) x

Top 5: High End Makeup Products

Heya everyone. Now I no that I meant to be blogging everyday in October but I had a really busy weekend with my birthday happening I haven't had time to post anything over the last couple of days! But I didn't want to let this stop me from carrying on so I going to keep going and have lots of posts planned :) Last week I posted my top 5 favourite drugstore products and wanted to follow it up with my favourite high end products.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - I normally don't notice much of a difference between high end and drugstore mascaras but I have with this one. It makes my lashes look so dramatic and full of volume.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer - I love contouring my face and I find this colour perfect. It also blends really well and looks flawless.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion - This works really well at keeping your eyeshadow on without it creasing or smudging.

Benefit High Beam Highlighter - I first tried it in my August Birchbox and really love it. It blends out really well and its such a lovely shimmery pink

MAC Pro Longwear Eyeliner - This is the best eyeliner I have ever tried! Its so long-lasting and doesnt smudge.

Let me no what your favourite High End makeup Product is?

Silent Beauty Products

There are so many fun beauty products that we all love to talk about. But theres those few that are a bit boring and never make an appearance on our blog. So today I thought I would share with you my favourite products I never talk about, but I couldn't live without.

Wilkos Cotton Pads - I really like the size of these because there so easy to remove all your make up with just one or two, and also the quality are really good. There a lot better than more expensive once I've tried.

Wilkos Mini Hair Elastics - I love using these if I'm tying the front bit of my hair up or if I plait my hair which I sometimes do at night. There just so much easier to use that bigger hair ties.

Nivea Pearl and Beauty Deodorant - I just really love the smell of this one.

Beauty Formulas Cleansing Nose Pore Strips - I get these from the pound shop and they work really well. I haven't tried any other brand but don't feel I need to when these work and are so cheap.

Tweezers - I don't no what brand these are. I think I go them for christmas Im a mini beauty pack. But they work the best and are really cute.

Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Razor - I find this mens razor so much easier to use than womens ones. I don't like all the soap you get on them and prefer smaller razors.

Whats your favourite silent beauty product?

NEW HAIR!!!!

So today I spent about 5 hours in the hairdressers! I hate going to the hair dressers and getting my hair cut so have never even thought about going to get my hair dyed that but I decided it was time to take the plunge and go for it. I wanted something really different, so went for the this ombre look. This was as blonde as they could get it because I have dyed my hair so many times before but I'm actually really happy with it. And its nice to no I could go back in a few months for another change and get it lighter. They had to do the blonde bits twice as the first time didnt take to well and as you can imagine I was sat there for quite some time. But I am really happy with the results.

Autumn Primark Haul

I had an agreement with myself that I would not do any shopping until my birthday. Three days before and I've broken that rule! How could I not wait three more days? Anyway as its been so long since I've done a haul I thought I would share what I brought today.

I love this Cardigan! Its quite thick so I think it will be perfect as its getting colder. It's nicely fitted as well and goes down just past the bum which I thick is the perfect length. I think this will be really easy to style and will make any simple outfit look amazing. This was £16 which I thought was quite expensive for primark but anywhere else this would have been much more so its not bad really.

I went for these two cream high neck tops. The one on the left is a thin cotton top. its very fitted and its goes all the way up to your neck which you fold down. I've never really had anything like this before so excited to try styling it and to see if I like it. It was only £4! The one on the right is a thicker woollen jumper. The neck line isn't as high as the other one but it still comes up to your neck. This one was only £6. I think these would both look great with the jacket above.

I went for these ankle boots because I really wanted some brown ones but didn't want to spend to much money on them because I don't think there a colour I can get away with all the time. These were really cheap at £13. I love that these are really simple and have a little heel. I am loving ankle boots this year.

These were from the pound shop but I wanted to show these because I think there so cool. I went in for the nose pore strips but I found these lips masks, finger nail masks and foot pack. I have wanted to try the lip mask for a while but have never found them and the other two I had never even heard of before. I have so excited to try these out and if there any good I will definitely be showing them on my blog again.

Top 5: Drugstore makeup products

Hello, I thought today I would share with you my top 5 favourite drugstore makeup products. I've always been a big fan of drugstore products but recently I've been purchasing a lot more high end makeup, even though there are great cheaper products out there. These are some of the products I couldn't live without.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - This is my favourite mascara. Its so lengthening and give my lashes so much volume.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder - I have used this for as long as I can remember and I will continue to do so. Its got great coverage and keep my face really matte.

Rimmel London wake Me Up Foundation - I love this because its got great coverage, looks very natural and brightening.

Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen - I love pen eyeliners because I find them so easy to apply but they always dry out so quickly but this one has lasted ages and still going strong.

Bourjoi Rouge Edition Velvet in Beau Brun - These are really long lasting and I love the colour. Check out my review on it here

Let me know what your favourite drugstore products are?

Healthy Recipes: Mexican Quinoa

I made this amazing dinner that I found on Pinterest yesterday and it was so yummy I wanted to share it on my blog. Its mexican Quinoa from Damn Delicious which you should check out for the full recipe. I have made a few changes to make it a little easier for me and it still tasted really good.

All you need is -
a Red Onion
Garlic
a Red Chilli
1 Cup of Quinoa
1 Cup of Vegetable Stock
Tin of Chopped Tomatos
Sweet Corn
Chilli Powder
Tin of Kidney Beans

1. chop up the onion. Glaric and Chilli in a pan. Then cook for about a minute.

2. Then add the Quinoa, Vegetable Stock, Chopped Tomatoes, sweet corn, Chilli Powder and Kidney Beans and bring to a boil.

3. Then bring down to a simmer until cooked (about 20 minutes)

I loved this so much and it made a lot so I think it will last me a couple more meals. Its the first time I have ever made Quinoa as well and it was so easy and really nice. I'm going to be making a lot more recipes with it so so keep an eye out for future recipe posts :)

I am currently doing blogtober so follow me on twitter and bloglovin to keep up to date with all my new posts :)

September Favourites

I haven't done a favourites in so long and realised that I had been loving quite a lot of new things recently and as it happens to be the beginning of the month, why not do a monthly favourites?

Victoria Sectrets Aqua Kiss Body Wash - Finally opened this this month after buying it in America and I love it so much. It smells amazing and lathers really well which I wasn't expecting.

Tangle Teaser - I didnt understand how these could be so amazing before I brought one but decided to go for it anyway eventually. It feels so much nicer on your hair and detangles it really easily. I prefer this so much to my brush I actually got rid of it.

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Chai - As its coming out of summer I can start reaching for the darker colours and I am loving the Barry M gelly range, especially in Chai. Been wearing it a lot this month.

Moroccan Oil - Its doesnt matter how many cheaper alternatives I find this one will always win. I didnt want to buy it again because of the price tag but finally did this month and I am really glad I did.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - I wasn't a fan of this at first but its really grown on me recently. They make my lashes so thick and full of volume. I don't normally see a reason to buy high end mascaras because drugstore ones normally do it for me but this has really impressed me.

Burts Bees Lip Balm - To be honest this is the first time I've ventured outside the vaseline world. I have been loving this so much recently. Its so much more moisturising and I like that its a stick as its so much more convenient

Bourjoi Rouge Edition Velvet in Beau Brun - I love the colour and I love the staying power. Check out the full review I did on it here

Twinings Orange and Lotus Flower Green Tea - I brought this as I was getting bored of the other teas I normally get and its now my favourite tea.

Let me no whats been your favourite product this month? If you've done a favourites post post the link down below, I love reading them :)

October Goals

I can't believe its October already! Its my favourite month because it's my birthday :) I really enjoyed doing my september goals and having something to aim for, that I wanted to do it again this month. Last months were mostly heath and fitness related as I wanted to start a healthier lifestyle (I'll do another post about that). But this month there a bit more varied and just random stuff I want to do this month.

Post every weekday - I wanted to try a month of blogging everyday but I think that might be a bit to much so I'm going to stick to just weekdays for this month. I want to try and get into posting a lot more regularly and as I'm not going back to uni this year I have the time to do it and I've got a lot going on in october so have lots to share.

Do yoga once a week - I've just always wanted to try and get into it. I'm going to start by doing it at home to see if I like it then might try and look for some classes.

Depop - I have a big pile of clothes and need to finally get them onto my Depop shop

finish my book - I've been reading Zoella's Girl Online for so long now and I just want to hurry up and finish it now.

Update my scrap book - On my bucket list for this year was to keep a scrap book for the whole year. I have now fallen behind a couple of months but I'm not ready to give up yet so want to catch up this month.

Do you have monthly goals? let me know what they are down below?
