Whats in my makeup bag

Heya everyone! I was finally at home while it was light outside, which meant I could finally take some photos for my blog :) wooop! Im still trying to get into the routine of being able to post regally and keep on top of university. Finding time to take photos during the day is the hardest part, but I'll start to make time more often, as its my favourite part. Anyway today I thought I'd do a whats in my makeup bag. I don't have the biggest makeup collection because I don't like having more than one thing, or things I don't use. So as soon as I get a new Item, I want to get rid of the old one a soon as possible.

Foundations, concealers and powders
The first product that I always start of with is the Rimmel stay matt primmer. Its quite thick, but I find that it sinks in really quickly and makes makeup easy to apply. The foundation that I have at the moment I am trying to use up before going back to my old favourites. my favourite out of these 3 is the Garnier BB cream, although it doesn't have that much coverage, Its really light and evens the colour of my skin out. So this with my concealer is usually what i got for. The other two are Rimmel london matt BB cream and Stay matt. I like the BB cream and it has quite a lot of coverage but Im struggling to use the stay matt foundation as its really thick and is hard to apply. Both my concealers are from MAC. The MAC pro longwear I use for areas as its easy to blend and I prefer the other one (the names rubbed of I've had it that long) for covering spots. Then I use Rimmel london stay matte powder and natural bronzer.

Blusher
I love this Mac blusher so much, and is definitely one that I will always repurchase. I brought the Rimmel london stay blushed, as I was interested in trying a cream blush. I loved using it over summer, but have changed my mind on the dewy look so now put it on under my power, which makes it last a lot longer.

Eyebrows
I am currently using the Rimmel london eye brow pencil and the Gosh defining brow gel. I like these both but am pretty open to finding new products after these are done, as doing my eyebrows is pretty new for me.

Eyeshadows
I'm not a massive eye shadow person. I usually have a natural brown, which I only use this Gosh pallet for. I used to love doing a dark smoky eye when I went for a night out, which I used Mac for, but I can't really be bothered for that anymore. But I do love the Mac eyeshadow, so I might have a look at some more natural colours as they last really well.

Eyes
I usually use Mac Prep and Prime, which I usually use just to give a clear base, I'm not to sure how much different it works to normal primer :/ I love using eyeliner and use it almost everyday. I'm currently really into pencil eyeliner and I prefer blending it out a bit. I have 2 gosh ones that I need to use up and then I have the Mac Technakohl, which is really good. I also have the Rimmel london gel liner and Avon Mega Effects mascara. I really like how this mascara is applied differently as I find it so easy to apply, but the only problem is that so much product comes out on the brush its been used up so quickly.

Lips
Lip products are the only things I enjoy experimenting with. My favourite are the mac lip pencils and the Revlon colour burst. The others are Gosh Velvet Touch Lipstick, max factor lipfinity lasting lip tint and soap and glory mother pucker gloss stick. I am going to do another post to review some of these in more detail, as I rarely use most of these any more. I'm hoping it will get me back into them.

I hope you guys enjoyed having a nosy into my makeup bag. I know it may not be as much as others I see do posts or videos, but I enjoy having a small amount. and I don't usually experiment with my makeup look anyways.

I have just got twitter so I'd love you if you could follow me :)

Enjoy the rest of your week:) x

Whats in my bag? (coming home from uni)

Heya everyone! I hope everyone had a good weekend? I went back home from uni this weekend, so I thought I'd show you all what I usually take with me for the weekend.

The bag I use to pack all my things in is this red owl travel bag, from new look. It was about £30 last summer, but I no they have similar designs this year. This bags quite big for all the stuff I take back with me but I like the size as I try to sneak some washing home, so I fill the rest of the bag up with dirty clothes.

The first thing I pack is my laptop. I use to to watch TV on in the evenings and get some work done when I get the chance.

I also pack my makeup bag and a few makeup brushes.

A few hair products I brought with me was dry shampoo, as Its an easy way to fix my hair and I'm usually really busy at home. Another product I bring is some sort of hair oil. my favourite at the moment is Garnier Ultimate Blends oil which keeps my hair really soft. I also bring my hair brush and comb.

Body products I bring is just some basic moisturiser for my body and then some face cream. I'm currently using Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Moisturiser and the Garnier Moisture Match Light Softening Cream.

For the shower I bring My Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub, my Lush mint Lip Scrub and my razor.

Then I bring enough clothes that I need to stay for the weekend. This weekend I brought a pairs of leggings with a grey shirt and black jumper.

I usually bring some uni work and my pencil case with me incase I get a chance to get on with some work on the train.

This is usually the stuff I take home with me for the weekend. I have a few things already there to save me taking some stuff I always use, such as; makeup wipes and deodorant, as I have forgot these in the past and had to buy them at home. The products I take back with me are only the essentials I use as I feel I don't really need to take everything I use for just a couple of days, and it keeps the bag light :)

Hope you enjoyed my post :) x

Breville Blend Active Review

Hello everyone! I hope everyones having a good week? I just finished the stress of having uni deadlines but its now all over and done with, so I can get into regular blogging now. I started my blog in the middle of all this stress over christmas, which meant I didn't really present myself the best way I could of, so I've spent the whole of today changing things up, taking new pictures and spending ages on photoshop to start making it the way I want it :)

Anywayys… As part of this get fit and healthy phase I'm in, I brought my self a Breville Blend Active. I got it from Debenhams for £30, although I have seen them cheaper in some other places.

It comes with two of these 600ml bottles with resealable lids which make it ideal to take away with you and drink on the go. I chose this blender as I liked that you could make the smoothie in a bottle that you can drink it out of as its far more practical for me. I think it also helps with portion size although 600ml is quite a lot for me, but the bottle is easy to store in the fridge so Its really useful. Also, the instructions come with some easy recipes, which will be handy for me as I've not really make smoothes before so am excited to give them a go.

This is the smoothie I made in it. I got really excited and went to the super market to buy loads of fruit, so I could make lots of varieties. But my first one had pretty much everything in it; strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, mango, grapes and some greek yogurt. After you've put everything in all you have to do is screw the lid on and attach it to the base and start blending.

It blended really well and quickly. I was expecting there to be some lumps from the amount of time the I blended it, but it was so smooth. I must have only blended it for about 30 seconds. I filled the bottle up to the maximum amount and it probably only filled it up about half way went it was done, which was actually ideal for me as it was the perfect amount. But I suppose you could add more fruit half way through if you wanted to fill the bottle. I'm so in love and impressed with this product already and so happy that I spent the money on it.

Hope you guys enjoyed my little review. I have only used it once but I don't think my opinion will change unless it breaks or something, then I wouldn't be impressed.

Cya guys soon :)

Demember Favourites

Heya everyone, hows it going? I hope everyones not to disappointed about getting back to normal after christmas. I've finally got around to doing a favourites post after a busy few days. I was undecided between doing a 2014 favourites or a december one. But because I'm still at home for christmas and most of my stuff is at uni, I didn't think it would be as good as I would have wanted so decided to just do a monthly favourite :)

FASHION
I've been loving warm comfy clothing this month. My legging collection have grown this month and I've barely lived out of them. My favourite have all been from new look. I've also loved my onsie and wooly socks for when I get home in the evening.

BEAUTY
As I've been home for christmas, I've been able to steal my mums body wash, and I love the Champneys distant shores shower mousse. It smells really nice and I find the foam so much more easier to apply. As its been really dry this month hand creams been really important to me and my favourite is the Neutrogena hand cream. Its the only one that has ever had any effect on my skin and I really like it. My next one is quite random because I know loads of people use these everyday but I've been extra loving my hair straighteners this month. I don't usually straighten my hair I usually curl it but I've been loving my hair straight this month.

FOOD
As obviously christmas is the time all the chocolates and stuff come out and my favourite has been all the biscuit selection boxes, which is really unusual for me as I usually turn my nose up at them, but there all just so good :)

TV
I have powered through Orange is the new Black this month. I know I'm a bit behind but I was waiting for some free time and finally got around to it. I thought it was really good and and can't believe how it ended, was it funny for stupid? I can't decide lol :) I can't wait for the next season this summer :)

SHOES
I've fallen back in love with my Dr Martens. And now I have two pairs because I got a new pair for christmas :)

Let me know one what you've been loving this month? :)

Bucket List 2015

Happy new year everyone!!! I hope everyone had a great night last night and aren't feeling to rough today :) I thought I'd kick off the year by doing a bucket list of things I'd like to do in 2015. I've never really done one of these before by I really enjoy seeing what other people want to achieve and then seeing at the end of the year how it goes, so I really wanted to give it a try :)

1. Get a job - I'd love to get another summer job, I only finished my last one a couple a months ago and I'm missing the money :)

2. Redecorate my room - I'll be commuting to uni next year so I'd like to revamp my room as I've barely lived in it for two years.

3. Be healthy - I'd like to work on regularly eating healthy and exercising. I'm ok now but i kind of have stages of being good and not being good so would like to try and keep it consistent.

4. Do something for charity - I'd like to do something where I have to raise money for charity, I don't have any ideas what this will be for yet. Properly a run or something.

5. Get 100 followers - I've only just started blogging but I would like to start posting regularly and for it to grow.

6. Travel to a country that I've never traveled to before - I love traveling to different places and I'd like to add another country to my list.

7. Push myself to do something thats outside my comfort zone and try new things - I know this is vague but I'd like to try out new things. I used to volunteer a lot at festivals and plays so would really like to get back into it.

8. I want to try and keep a scrap book - I vaguely attempt this every year but I'm gonna really try this year because I love taking photos and looking back on memories.

9. Get a tattoo - I've wanted one for a while and really want to get it done.

I hope everyone ones had a good year and hope this ones going to be even better. Let me no in the comments below what you'd like to do this year :)
